Thanks to Alfred and Fab I tried the blurs for the first time while out in Bosque. They are definitely challenging but loads of fun. This is perhaps one of the better ones but I will be interested in your feed back.

Artistic! Love the sharp head and legs while the wings are blurred. Nice one.

Its a very fine image Judy.
BTW - The forum guidelines suggest that one post per 24 hrs is the limit ;)
Thanks Glenn !! I was under the understanding that the one post every 24 hours started after the sight was open to everyone. My sincere apologies.

As I am a huge fans of having the wings in the full down stroke position, I love it. A crop from the bottom would improve the balance.

Agree on all the comments so far. Glad you enjoyed doing the blurs, it looks like you got them :)
Happy New Year to you and the rest of th family!
I like this a lot. The blurred wings and the silky BG complement each other well.

You did a wonderful job with this one. The head is sharp and the wings are a perfect blur. You "done good".....and had terrific teachers:)
Beautiful panning technique! Love the BG also. The legs are showing a little over sharpened to my eyes?
Got to love this, very good job with the blur. I really like this image Judy!
This works very well for me Judy. The wings positions and sharp head makes a very unique image. This is an excellent example of a good panning technique.
Very nice!
Superb first try. Love the quality of the light and the sharpness.

Well done, Judy! You got the head, body, and legs nice and sharp with just the right amount of blur in the wings. Nice soft light too.
