Sweet light with a nice pose. The Composition works well and i like the overall environment.
Nice light and nice pose. Really like the view of the legs and feet. Do wish there was less shadow on the rear wing. Flight is so hard because if the bird is not directly on the sun angle then you get some harsh shadows. It is much less forgiving than shooting a static subject. But more rewarding I guess when you get it all perfect.
The setting, pose, and brown tones are really lovely. The shadow is one issue and the lack of eye contact is another. But I still like this frame. The reeds/stems are wonderful.
Amazing how small the body looks, there's no bulk!
You gotta keep trying until you get one with eye contact :)

I like the fact that the bird is looking down for prey. Too bad Arash is not a mouse ...
And I do not mind the two shadows as they show that you were about 3 degrees off sun angle at most.
