Tom, I like the definition of the moorhen better on this blur. You might want to tone down the head just a little bit and maybe just a very slight crop from the top which would eliminate the darkish space at the upper right corner. Blurs are fun - I hope we see more from you(I liked your website).

Tom, There is more definition in this one and Cheryl makes a good suggestion. I might try panning with the bird a little on your next try. Beautiful soft color palette.
