If it was possible, I would have moved right (into the water?) to get the taller peak and its golden reflection out from the thicker patch of grass. That would also get the smaller peak separated from the FG grasses. I like the left FG grasses as they help to balance the image as do the two larger clouds.
I would like to see better tonal separation in the dark parts of the mountains.
Robert hit it on the head, getting that one little patch of grass away from the peak would make a nice difference. Otherwise, I like the composition, and the bit of light on the peak is a nice plus to the image. To me with the dynamic range in this scene, it would have been a great candidate for HDR.
Thanks, I had one tripod leg in the water so I couldn't get to the right. I will remember though, the next time I'll pay more attention to the secondary subject.
