This is at a setup. Nikon D700, 300mm f2.8, 1.4tc, tripod. 1/500, f7.1, iso640. Set sunny wb in camera. +.60 exp, +28 vibrance in acr. Very small levels, s/h, usm in cs3. This is a larger than normal crop for me leaving about 40% of the original. These little birds are the most numerous and most frequent visitors to my feeders so here is one more perched on a madonna lily seed pod.

Oh boy! It's not often I see a shot I like as much as this. An otherworldly bizarro piece of art, in my estimation. Coincidentally it's also a nice look at a good-looking bird. Well done, very well done!
