    As human beings, we should control ourselves when attributing human feelings to other critters. But don't you think that these rockhopper penguins photographed on New Island, the Falklands, have a special relationship to one another?

    Good interaction. I would crop much tighter to make this more intimate. I don't like how the lower body is cut off. very good detail in whites and blacks. Looks like a difficult bird to take a good exposure of,

    Hi,

    Lovely overall effect, and great action type shot. I like the way the left hand guy is peeping out from behind the rock. Excellent detail on the feathering. Would be even better if the camera were aimed a bit lower, to include the bottom part of the penguins and less of the rock above.

    I like the image, as is. Yep, they're buddies, I'd bet on it.
