    Default End of an Era

    Dear All

It took nearly a week for me to get out of the shocking news, B2 was killed in fight.
India's most famous Tiger, B2 took over from Charger, his father, the Kingdom of Bandhavgarh and as history repeats, now the New Tala male AKA Bamera male, son of B2, killed him and has become the dominant male of Bandhavgarh.
Over the years, B2 has given immense pleasure to tiger lovers and will remain in our minds and hearts till we are alive. He lived to a ripe old age of 16 ...a major feat for a wild Tiger, a true King.

    Rest in Peace my friend

Let the "End of era" usher in a "New ers".
    Let's hope for the best.
Nice shot with half the face showing, the expression is well captured.

Fitting tribute Harshad, no critique from me. Thanks for all your wonderful photos of this magnificent tiger. I hope his son does him proud.

A fitting image to a Tiger that has given so much, to so many.

    Harshad,

This news is very shocking for me, but unfortunately inevitable. He was certainly looking old and tired when we saw him in April, I am certainly glad I got the chance of one final sighting.

He has left many fine offspring which everybody will be able to enjoy for hopefully many years to come.

I do hope you do not mind me posting an image from our final sighting

He will live forever through his offspring. What a magnificent tiger he was.

Sorry to hear Harshad! Now you need to process some "unseen" images of him from your archives to share with us...
