Base layer with a fresco texture, Tern image blended in with bird painted through, Nik filters: tonal contrast, darken/lighten center, glamour glow, Indian summer - each on its own layer with varying opacity.
The original image was plagued with a featureless sky

Well it sounds as if you you had a great time here - eagles and Kachemak bay were probably on your itinerary in October/November. It would be great to meet up next time!
