    Default First Light Take off

Got this beautiful looking female montagus Harrier take off at first light, the low angle of the light created the shadow in the grass and nicely lit up the bird when I enhanced further in PP

    spec: 1/3200, F 4, ISO 800.

    MK4+500mm

    Regards,

    Kiran.

Fantastic image!!! I assume you've created the spot light effect on the bird in post.

Excellent capture Kiran...Looks like you played with BG brightness to achieve the spot light effect that Ofer mentioned above...

Thank you dear friends for your kind words..

Thanks Ofer, this had the effect already but I sure enhanced it by burning ( shadow only) the BG.

    Regards,

    Kiran.

The pose is fabulous and the light superb. I find that the spotlight effect is too polished for me. Can we see the picture without the burning?

Gorgeous. Wing position and stare are terrific, and I love the 'spotlight' effect, especially since it is natural lighting (other than some BG burn). Well captured.

Kiranbhai, good eye contact, and well timed to capture the raised wings for pre-take off. Excellent detail and colours throughout, and the comp works well. Fine image bhai.

Hi Kiran....The spotlight effect seems a bit overdone for my tastes but That said i think it is a very beautiful image ....a wll hanger! Congrats!

Fantastic PS skills Kiran, love the opener. A lovely looking raptor, vertical crop works nicely, like the upright wings and good eye contact!
