This is the companion to http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...rs-New-Zealand and was created 40 minutes before the sun started to peak over the horizon. When I saw this image with a sliver of the moon above the boulder and the clean wavy sand (I cleaned it a lot more!) it felt kinda like a Japanese garden in its simplicity.
The processing may not be completed; I am posting this in part for assistance. There appears to be a circular banding running across the top portion of the sky and I was wondering what ideas anyone had why it is there, and how if at all to get rid of it.
