    Default Spider on Ootheca

I have no idea what this spider was doing next to what appears to be a Praying Mantis ootheca. Very uncooperative fellow, had to open up aperture and shoot handheld, Av mode, f5, 1/400, -0.33EV, ISO 400

    Hey Saravana,
Nice pose and very good light and BG. I do wish for a little more DOF....so the RH side was a bit more in focus but it is still reasonably sharp. I am a bit bothered by the whitish things above the ootheca....so if you are not against such things.....and easy removal would do the trick for me. Nicely done overall!

Very nicely done. As mentioned a bit more dof would have been great but still a very fine photo.

I like the nice full side view with a sharp spider.

Hi Saravana. That's a nice looking spider and the ootheca adds interest to the image. Like the others, I would wish for enough DOF to get the near side of the egg case sharp. It looks like you had enough light to go to f/8 - which might have done the trick.
