This is lovely Dumay. I love the comp. The BG is great and the scratching adds interest to the picture. Nice light and simple perch.
Akeeper for sure,
Gail
Decided to post a tighter crop as well to see which is preferred
nice image Dumay, like the BG, nice pose, leg up scratching bonus, nice light,Like the first post better, but both are bang on.thanks.
Nice pose, good perch, great BG. I like looser comps too, so I'm biased on the first...but on that one I'd like to see the subject placed a bit closer to the edge (perhaps halving the current amount of space between it and the edge). I love the green sheen on the crown!
Dumay, excellent BG and IQ as always. very nice pose. I like poses as they add that extra bit to bird-on-stick/ duck-in-water/ shorebird-in-sand/ egret-in-water images.
At 1024-pixels wide, I do like the wider crop. If you were to post it as 800-pixels wide, then yes, the tighter obviously works better.
A lovely image captured! I agree with the above. I like the first. Great background and pose!

Nicely done Dumay. You've been getting great looks at greenies and have used these opportunities well.
Nice bg, perch, pose.
I like both comps but prefer the original one. I'd move him slightly more to the left as Daniel suggested.
Great image Dumay. I prefer the original post best. I like the IQ, details, pose, perch and BG.
Great image..Remember what you told me it has to be No 1

Thighter crop is the winner IMO.
awesome pose light and BG + sharp details, lovely!
