    great pose and nice BG, the catch is a plus, head details don't look great however did you apply noise reduction to the bird?

    Allen, thats a fair size dragonfly he caught there, and he's given you the perfect pose to show it off. I dont think you have lost IQ from NR, I feel your ss has let you down.

    Not a good day to be a dragonfly, I guess. Good angle and BG. The critical focus seems to be behind the head....feet and wings appear much sharper.

    Thanks everyone for your comments. I was wondering about the sharpness of the image and I guess it just does not cut the mustard.... This vertical crop was from an horizontal image and I imagine the crop size is what is causing most of the softness.

    Allen, I would love to have one of these images in my collection. I agree the image is a bit soft and that's too bad as you really did nail the shot otherwise.
