    Took this at Fort Desoto. I loved the stretch and the upward gaze.

    Love the pose too, and nice low angle you have here too. Usual crop but it works for me as the subject is the pose of the bird as a whole. I also like the OOF grass on top right, it helps framing the bird nicely.

    Nice exposure and detail. OOF grass in the front is a bit distracting. Love the pose you captured. Nice timing.

    Gail, good to see your post. Always love oystercatcher. Nice interesting pose. I like how the leg angle was in parallel to that branch below. Agree with the front oof grass. But don't know if it may take too much effort to remove in PP.
