    Default Bald Eagle

Not sure if I pushed this one quite far enough, I tried too, but I added the "Weekly Theme" prefix to it anyway.

A captive Bald Eagle portrait with Topaz Adjust 4 "SketchPad Pencil" and the Fractalius, Rounded Preset, reduced to 60% and I masked backed in the Topaz SketchPad effect on the eye and then did a little tweaking of contrast and B&W tones with Nik's Viveza.

    Look forward to comments.

Andrew, I love it. I see a very light halo around the bird I might carefully remove if it were mine. I love the sketch result you achieved. I like the details in this! Wonderful image.

Unique look and I like it a lot, Andrew! Love the "eyebrows", detail, and the overall firm separation from the BG. Did notice a very tiny break in the beak line above the nostril and am not sure that adds or subtracts. What a wonderful stare!

    Andrew,

I like the composition and use of effects. I agree with Denise about removing the subtle halo.

Really nice processing on the eagle. It's one of the best sketch effects I've seen. Nice base image too!

    Great "sketch" work, Andrew!
Just for the fun of it, I'd like to see a version with an overly saturated original eye showing through.

Thanks for the comments folks. I'll touch-up the halo and the break in the beak.

Ken, I'll try to do one with your idea in a few days.
