Nesting female peregrine falcon on the Palisades Cliffs, N.J. I was looking down at her over the edge of the cliffs. She was perched on a snag off of the cliff, 60 feet below my position. 1D mark IV, 800 f5.6, iso 800, 1/250, f8, handheld.

Definitely a unique perspective. The head seems a bit contrasty (from pp?) and the background shows noise. JR

Agree on the killer fresh perspective and the BKGR noise but the contrast seems fine to me. Love those eyes. Losing the extra branch is an option that I would pursue.

Thanks for commenting Joerg and Art. I removed the branch and some noise from the BKGD.

Nice repair work, the final product is very nice. Love the angle and stare.
