    Default Sunset on the Farm

Went out on Saturday evening to try and capture the sunset on the same local farm I frequently shoot at.

There's not much to go around for compositions with our flat highland terrain, so having some nice clouds is a necessity.

    Techs:
    Canon 7D with 10-22mm USM @ 13mm
    f22 @ ISO-100
Manual blend of 3 exposures using luminosity masks

F/22 my man, way to go with the sunburst. The clouds helped you accomplish your vision Morkel. I like the placement of sun and the three plants, balanced with the trees on the right.

love the placement of the sunstreaks moving out and down combined with the two trees moving out and up.

Another excellent landscape from you Morkell. I like the way the plant has split the sunbeams. Those look

    like yucca plants.

Hi Morkel, Great light and an interesting comp...As stated F22 will very often give you the sunburst effect which worked nicely in this case. Good eye for the comp with the tuft of cloud just in the right place.

    Hey Morkel,
Very nicely composed! Flow works great as does the blend. These type of landscapes are tough to pull off.....but you did that very nicely!

Beautiful Morkel, love the sunburst and it's placement between the yuccas.

I agree with all the praise, Morkel, but no one is talking about the lovely light in the right side in the grass. My eye was first drawn to the trees and sun and f22 effect, but when you ask why the lower right is in there, you get the answer with those golden tones. Congrats!
