help please!!

i'm not a real photoshop expert --to that end i finally upgraded from 7 to lightroom and cs3. for some reason i can't get bridge to open my raw files in camera raw nor can i open them in cs3. i just updated lightroom to 1.3 and it will now open my raw files---can anyone take a guess or tell this old big dummy what i'm doing wrong? thanks in advance chuck

You need a RAW file format update.

Upgrade to the newest updated version Camera Raw 4.3.1. Adobe did release 4.4 but I read they pulled the update.
