Tim, Nice composite work and beautiful BG and colors. The flight pose and sharp details make this one special. Maybe a hint too much yellow on the bird. or maybe that was your intention.:)

    Hey Tim,

This is pretty wicked. Did you put the curve onto the hill??? Did you warp the sky? Those clouds look strange but the overall effect is very interesting. I'd like to see the bird's undersides a bit lighter.

Was the kite from Gingrich (sp?) Farms? Love the image design.

Beautiful composite, Tim. Love the curved field and the colors. I like the stretched wing perspective of the bird giving a sense of renewal and freedom! I do agree with Artie on the sky being a bit skewed. Lovely work.

    Hi All,
Thanks for commenting. A product of CS5 software, yes I did warp the landscape, and will repeat the
process this time holding the sky straight, also will lighten the underside of the bird.
Hi Artie, this kite is not a welsh one, we have had them released throughout the country now, so he/she
is a local Yorkshire bird. A very successful reintroduction of a species.

Artie not sure but if he's using CS5 he did it with "puppet warp" one of the cool new features in the software

Check out http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-phot...th-puppet-warp The possibilities are endless with this feature...
