Manual mode, hand held, cloudy sky, no crop. Cleaned few grass blade tips emerging from water. Unfortunately ice was starting to form on water surface and the reflection is not perfect.

Hi Ovidiu. What an interesting looking thistle. I really like the way you composed this image. The darkness of the reflection isn't working that well for me though - I wonder if brightening it would help? I'll be interested to see what some other folks think. :)

I like the lines and shapes and textures. I especially like the shape created by the thistle and its reflection. Wonderfully seen and captured. I agree with Steve that brightening it up a bit would add to the impact.

A really nice composition and good eye to see it.

It has a very nice shape to it.

    Well done.

I like this one a lot. A very interesting composition as is -- way to see this one. I really like the fact that the water is so smooth and without any floaties, etc.

Hey Ovidiu, I really like the comp on this one....it has a nice circular flow to it. I like it as is but now that it's been mentioned, I'm curious to see what it would look like with the reflection lightened. :)

Nice comp, lines, and textures. I agree with the others on the reflections. I think adding some contrast would help this image.

    Hey Ovidiu,
I agree with the above comments on the reflection......would be interesting to see for comparison. I do think the comp is wonderful and great job seeing this one!

Thanks for comments and suggestion. Did try some adjustment, as suggested, but was not pleased with the result. Probably because of my very limited PP skills.:o
