I don't know which is more beautiful, the wigeon or the green-winged teal but for today I'm going with the wigeon. This fella looks like he's been working out at the gym for awhile with that thick neck and those back muscles. All of the blue, white, rust, green and other colors have all been captured with great skill here and the face pattern has more detail, especially in flight, that any discerning BPNr could ask for. The little driplets of water don't hurt anything either.:) Nice bokeh as well with its faint layer of contrasting color across the top of the subject. Oh my, what a shot?!!

So Jim - when are you going to offer a birds in flight workshop!? Yet another stellar shot...

Repost is definitely an improvement. Everything spot on here, James. Light need to be just right for that green to show....well done.

    Hi James,

Wow another spectacular image, the detail and colours are incredible. Danny has said it all and not much more to add.
