    Default Another Loon

Okay, here we go again. Another back-lit Loon from Horseshoe Lake near Parry Sound, Ontario. A more parellel view as Randy and Dan said they would prefer and no blown-out slash across the back as Arthur mentioned. On this one I did do some cloning of a dark bit of water that was merging with the underside of the bill - just didn't look right to me.

    Look forward to all comments.

Forgot to mention that I moved the Loon in the comp. without cropping.

    Andrew:

I do prefer this one over the original. More traditional profile view. Good work under the bill.
Now if you show us a profile wing flap, silhouette, that would be pretty slick!

    Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers

    Randy

Love the water color and the silhouette is just dark enough.

The OOF water on the upper part of the image looks a bit strange to my eyes...I might have tried a pano with this one as you don't need all of that negative space at the top.

The light and colours on the water are really striking and works very well for the silhouette. Well captured.

Thanks to all for the comments. Much appreciated. Randy, sorry no profile wing flaps for this one :)
