I used Pixel Bender oil paint and ripple blocks on this one after darkening the image. This was the same one that I use the blur filter on for the previous image.

Judy, I really like the extra detail of this one. Good to see you experimenting with different looks and I like the "linear" style of this background. I love the colors of these damselflies! I like the pano crop but it feels a bit tight to me. Might want to open it up a bit all around. Very nice!

I definitely like this one better. Beautiful color and effect on the damselflies. Agree with Kerry on the crop.
Judy, I like them both. Great idea to experiment with different looks. I like the way you framed them in the scene.
Nice image and application, Judy.
Like the colors.
Looks like a plane refueling midair! :D
Nice capture.
Cool use of the ripple blocks. PB is so much fun! Great result. :)
Thanks everyone, I'm glad you liked it. I like it better too, just thought the other one was kinda cool with the spin blur. Here's another version with a "frame" the best I could do since I could not possibly repeat it from scratch. Y'all sure like big crops! (It looked good to me like it was and I did crop out some stuff that would have been hard to clone out.)
Judy, both versions look cool but I definitely prefer this one. A beautiful pair of Damselflies!
Since I mainly shoot macro and like tight crops, the crop in the OP looks fine to me. :)
