    Default Abused Egret

OK guys, I really abused this one :D but I love it, it made me laugh out loud! It was made yesterday, from the rear with the head not showing, and I was like 100 ft away. I had been photographing it on the log in the water near the marina but took one step too close and it flew and landed on the dock. I drove there and got out and snapped 3 shots and it flew and this photo was the beginning of liftoff with the wings straight up and the feet just barely leaving the dock but it made a cool abused image: PB oil paint plus PB twirl + Topaz Adjust. I cropped off the black edges from the twirl on this one.

This is a really cool, fun image Judy. Your persistance paid off for you. I love how the shades and tones flow through both the bird and dock

Judy, I'm sure Dali had an egret like this in his pond! Love the wavy, crazy, ribbon-bird thingy! Just think how much better our filters are going to feel next week... :)

If you could find a way to leave most of the face intact but still keep those crazy wings and legs I think that would also be a fantastic image. This is very "Picasso" and I do like it as presented.

Thanks Jules. It was taken from the rear so the head and neck wasn't showing at all. Just the butt and tail which wasn't too pretty! :D

Judy, this definitely looks like something Dali might have created.:) I love the wavy lines especially in the legs and feet.

I absolutely love the abuse; it looks like a modern dancer and I love the colors and shapes.
