This is one of 4 baby kildeer with parent that were near the road at the Waterway and when I got out of the car they all took off. I was disappointed to only get this one rear view shot but when I looked at it on the computer it really appealed to me. I used content aware scale to draw the pink flowers in closer to the bird. I used Topaz Adjust and Simplify and a bokeh texture.

Judy, Cute as a button. I love these little guys. The pink flowers and the bokeh really add to this IMO. I might try to add a tiny bit of life to the eye if it were min. Very nicely done.:)

It always pays to look at the images we have taken before deleting (I never delete! :o ), or little gems like this one would pass into oblivion. This photo is so cute and appealing and the pink and yellow flowers give the image a really spring like feel.

Thanks everyone for the comments! Denise, adding "life" to the eye is a good idea. I'll have to work on that when I quit playing with other photos.
