Vulture Restaurant

Once one vulture lands on a kill the rest rush in and start feeding in a total frenzy! All you can see are the wings and backs undulating as the vultures rip at the meat. It looks like they don't mind a little pushing and shoving while eating :D.

Nancy, Something different! I like the way you are thinking OOTB. The color tones of the vultures look nice, maybe a bit bright in some areas. I wonder if you tried to open up the shadows a bit.:) When I first looked at the image w/o reading the text I thought they were all dead. Glad to know they weren't.

Hi Nancy, I agree that this is some really good thinking for OOTB! This is a good example of taking something natural and making an abstraction from it. I'm a little torn between liking the clipped blacks in some areas and wishing they were opened up a bit. I think I see hints of detail in those areas that might be nice if they were brought out a bit. Very interesting and I like "different"... :cool:

The shapes and color creates a nice abstract; OOTB for sure! I too think opening the black(just a bit) may enhance this even more.

And I thought we had a lot of vultures here, but I've never seen anything close to this! It makes a great abstract.
