Not the shot I was looking for but the sun was very directional, this is against the light (in fact there was very little light at all the dark area is a hedgerow and the sun was behind it. ) I used a little fill in flash. I used some selctive sharpening to avoid the water droplets becoming too refractile of bright.
    All C&C welcome.

Hi Jonathan, I like the effect of the light here. It creates a bit of a gloomy mood, especially with the dead flower. Nice composition and I like that the butterfly sticks out its tongue :).

    Hey Jonathan,
I agree with Jerry.....this one has a very moody look to it.....and I find it very appealing! I'd be real tempted to clean up a few of the highlights.....but all in all very well handled and an interesting take on this BF!

Look good as is. You did very well with the lighting.

Hi Jonathon. I like the butterfly with the water droplets, but the dark, dead flower isn't working that well for me. Maybe I'm just not in the right mood. Looks like I'm in the minority again. :)
