    Default Common Tern PP Blur

    Attached Images Attached Images

This image started out as a failed attempt to do a flash blur. Nothing was blurred-in fact I couldn't have gotten a sharper image if I tried. So I added a few layers which I moved w/ the move tool and then added a zoom blur(small amount) in photoshop. Added a sky from the Galapagos and then masked back in some details.

This is beautiful, Denise. The color and the effect has an ethereal quality to it... Very nicely processed.

Denise, I just have to say it - wow! This is just wonderful. I would be happy to get that base image, but what you've done with it is super. Love the sharpness of the head and all the multiple wings, legs, and tail feathers! The bg is awesome. Great job!

My Goodness Denise... this is outstanding! I really love it. You are so creative and artistic. Your pp skills are magnificent. It's great to be able to capture a winner from the get go and to be able to take it to a whole new level is awesome. You have obviously managed both with this image. Great job!

Hi Denise, agree with Susan and others on your creativity and handling of this image. IMO everything works from it's softness, positioning, detail, clouds and lighting. Very well done!!

Denise, this is just gorgeous. I love the dreamlike look to it combined with the sharpness of the tern. There's nothing common about this tern:D

I really love this one. Did you rotate the different levels? Did you erase to wind up with only one head? Wait, don't answer those: save it for the Blur Guide! I love the multiple wings and the fact that you can see the eye. Your imagination and creativity are over the top.
