    Dear all
Though I am not in Macro and do not have any kind of expertise to comment on amazing images in this forum , I could not resist myself to post this.

We were shooting three tiger cubs playing in water for three hrs. After photo shoot when we were returning to base camp , I saw these butterflies. Could not resist to shoot them.

    7D , 300/f4 , ISO 400 ,F16 1/125 , HH , flat on ground
All C & C are most welcome and much appreciated
    Harshad

ps , You can see cubs images in Wildlife and on Facebook

Hi Harshad, I really like this shot of the mineraling behavior of the butterflies...I like the low perspective you achieved and I think it really works with the row of grass just above the tops of the butterflies. You might try cropping out some of the oof dirt in the foreground - not sure all that adds much. Well composed overall IMO. Thanks for sharing.

Harshad, Allen pretty much covered exactly what I was thinking but let me add that I think you could crop out most of the OOF dirt.

Whether you mean "will it work on this shot" or "is it OK to post a pano in this forum", the answer is yes. :)

    Hey Harshad,
Well....I realy like this for the low perspective......and the OOF FG didn't bother me! I did however think pano. I personally like the pano off the top! Let me know how you feel!

Nice shot Harshad. Glad to see you posting in macro!!! I think the pano is the way to go. I like yours the best because you minimized the oof dirt. You might even crop a tad bit more off the top and see ho that looks.:)

Excellent capture! Somme of us, hardly shoot a single butterfly at a time...you've shot an entire colony of them....:)
Well done! I think Roman's pano works best for me.

hmmm...well I've debated with myself which pano I like the best and I am going to vote for yours...just can't fully warm up to all that oof dirt. may try taking a little more off the top as has been suggested.

This is a striking congregation of butterflies, Harshad. Here's another vote for your pano shot with the OOF dirt removed. Well done.
