Does anyone have good experience with a particular camera rental company? I was checking out www.borrowlenses.com Also, as for pricing, are the rates listed usually by the day? Or when it says this amount for 1 week, it mean that is the total?
I rented lenses from them in October and can't say enough good things about them. The lenses were in perfect condition and the receipt and return process was very simple. The prices quoted are for the entire rental priod. If you have a Smugmug account you get a 5% discount from them.

I think renting is a great way to see if you want a particular lens Sometimes after using you see is the lens is not practical or too heavy Excellent idea!!!
fantastic, thanks for the information Harry. The only place local that I could find charged outragous prices, plus the took the full price of the lens as a deposit - Im 26 years old, no gold cards here lol
