    Default Stand stright and don't stoop

    Got this little guy (black neck stilt) Sunday July 4th, its momma wouldn't let any bird get close to its baby, But for some reason it let it get really close to me. This is the closest I've ever been to one.

    Thanks for this gangly little one, Bernie. Could you ID the bird? BB plover, perhaps? I think that cropping about 25% off the left would help the composition. Maybe some fill flash would help as well, especially creating a catchlight. Some sharpening on the bird might also help. TFS!
