I like the composition and I like the sharpness in the skipper. I am a little distracted by the shadow on the pedal just above the skippers head...not sure of there is anything you can or want to do about that.

Jonathon, I really like your angle, here. Good diagonal with the insect placement and nice job on the whites of the daisy. Not sure I love the one open spot on the petal just in front of his face - you might want to clone over that one so it doesn't pull the viewer's eye from the skipper but that's up to you.

Lovely BG and what a nice image overall!

Okay Jules now I see what that is...I thought it was shadow.

    Hey Jonathan,
Weird how such a little spot like that can draw the eye....but I agree if you are OK with such things.....it will help strengthen this. Really nice job handling the whites and the OOF BG daises just take this up yet another notch IMO.

You guys simply see too much detail!! You are of course absolutely right, it looks obvious now but not earlier - thanks for your comments:)

The overall look of the shot is nice and the bfly looks great. I agree about filling in the hole in the petal and maybe a slightly smaller aperture could have got the entire flower in focus.
