The noise reduction sample they show looks too good to be true. I look forward to trying it and hope to be proved wrong. :)

The noise reduction in the beta was impressive..I have not had a chance to play with the release version yet. I just imported 3000 images over the weekend to the beta-I will edit and work on them this weekend.

I have not noticed any differences between the beta and the final version but I only used it for a little while last night.

I ordered it from Adobe yesterday, but they say the estimated delivery date is June 29 :( (I like having a CD in hand).

You can download the 30 day trial(it is the full version) and when you get your hard copy all you have to do is enter the serial number off your package. You don't even have to install the disk.

Thanks, Bill. I hadn't thought of that! My new computer is arriving tomorrow, so I have my work for this weekend cut out for me installing all of my software. I got sick of doing everything on an old slow laptop (it can take up to a minute just to sharpen a CS5 file from my 7D), so I broke down and hit the Dell Outlet Store and bought something fast.

I just downloaded my update and started to play. The NR and sharpening upgrades seem to be quite robust! It looks like it's time to determine some new general parameters. :)
