Harold, you were just teasing us with piers 1 & 2, this is lovely. Wonderful light and comp. I'm viewing on my iPhone so can't see fine detail but this is very nice. Perhaps some will question the top of the posts breaking the horizon but it doesn't bother me much.
Hey Harold,
You did save the best for last I see. OK....you need to go into that sky and try to pull out any and all details you can! A bunch of levels layer adjust ments or even toying in selective color layers.....the more detail you eek out the stronger this will be. Nice job on the pier seperation......I don't mind the slight touch in this case as the line of the piers lead me nicely to the wonderful sky!
Glas to see you are paying attention:D....and working the subject!
Harold,my boy, you have a winner with this image. I like everything about it from light, comp placement, soft water and most important...dynamic sky. The repost added more punch to an already strong image....
I like the punching of the highlights in the repost. I still would lighten up the right side a bit and add some structure if you have viveza 2 on it to show off the textures in the clouds that get lost when it is shadowed up.
