    Hi - Anyone using Raw Developer?? http://www.iridientdigital.com/products/

    Of particular interest is the sharpening methods - Richardson-Lucy Deconvolution
    Might have to give it a whirl - anyone using it??

    btw regarding sharpening there are lots of new things around, particularly in LR !! When I find some free time will give it a look !!! From the name it implies is geared to photographers ..... what a thought ... !!!

    I think Roger Clark has used and written about Richardson-Lucy.

    Hi - have not had a heap of time to play with it yet....

    Lucy Richardson sharpening does look good - BUT - you are working on the RAW file - so NO selective sharpening available - sharpening the entire file.

    Hope to post a sample - Normal workflow VS Raw developer - just gotta get time to do it.

    I have been using Raw Developer for some time. In most cases it produces more detail than ACR. That said I do not use LR3 Beta nor CS5. Workflow is a tad slower. I mainly use Lucy Richardson although sometimes I use its Hybrid sharpening.

    I have just converted several Higher ISO images with no noise reduction and then used Topaz DeNoise 4.1. Very happy with the results.

    I also like the fact that I can choose my colourspace as I use DCam3.
