    Default Duck ID help please!

Could anyone shed some light as to what type of ducks these might be. I live in Northern Louisiana (Shreveport, La to be exact) and these ducks are not year round here. They showed up around the start of spring and they skip years comming here sometimes as well. When they are on the ground they are a smaller looking duck then say a Mallard with a brown body and a very distinctive Orange beak. I was told they were Wood ducks but they do not look like it in any of the Google images of Wood ducks that I looked at. When in flight, as in the picture, is the only time you can see that white on their wings as well. Hope all this helps. Thank yall again.

Those are Black-bellied Whistling Ducks.. They are fairly common here in Florida.
