Default calibration help needed with SPYDER3

i've got SPYDER3 with v4 software and calibrated my DELL INSPIRON E1405 but somehow compare to my LCD screens of Samsung 21" the laptop produce very dark tones. totally different.

both Samsung and Dell laptop calibrated using same parameter side by side one after another.

can anyone help me the step to do the perfect calibration of laptop ?

I just posted an issue with Spyder3 giving a red cast to neutral grays on my Dell monitor but you are right, it also cause the midtones and shadows to be dark as well. Hope we get some help.

Have you disabled the laptop backlight auto adjusting features. Most of them change display blacklight levels based on power management settings you choose. Another one is to turn OFF Grey balance of and calibrate.
