Man these action shots are over the top. Excellent iming !!! I can't imagine having to dismount in this fashion. Looks a bit painful to say the least. !!!!
Looks like he's actually set for nice landing. I don't know how much "instruction" rodeo riders get in falling correctly, but in the Martial Arts world I got a lot. Still, falling and getting out of the way seems a frightening task to me.
Looks like it will be a hard landing !!!! Interesting that some rides have opted for head protection (minority) I know that just the hat looks neat but would hate to be kicked on the the head !!!!
