Now you've done it, I will have to start learning the video side!! This is really well done, really enjoyed it Michael Is iMovie easy or does one need to purchase some documentation. I have a MacBook and want to play.

Fantastic; can't wait to see the posting instructions.

AND, what do you have to do to be able to watch videos without the constant pausing that occurs as the video is playing?

We have a bunch of videos that we made when in Antarctica of different behaviours that I look forward to sharing.
    Cheers, Jay

Jeff, it's pretty easy. But documentation? That's what's missing. They have free online tutorials on the Apple site and books. I basically self taught myself; but I admit, I'd have to research the instructions to do more complex audio/video editing.

Jay do you mean for online viewing? or editing?

I have noticed that the HD files from the canon cameras cannot be handled "as is" in iMovie. The files would either need to be downgraded or there is a conversion program out there that converts them to a format that iMovie will handle in HD.
