Hello Eric and welcome to BPN.

You have a very nice image here indeed. I like the wings position, blur, light and details. I wish for more room near the feet but that's all I can think of. The BG is very pleasant to my eyes. Good capture!

Quite lovely. Great job of catpuring the peak of the action. And I love the soft light. The dark band of backgorund intersecting the bird is somewhat problematic. If there had been a way to get about a foot higher, you could have eliminated the light sky, placed the dark band at the top of the frame, and placed the bird completely against the lovely buff background.

Welcome, Eric. I like the pose and the blurred wings work well here. In addition to the other comments I would like to see a bit more space at the bottom. I look forward to your posts.

Welcome and a very fine first post. Nice dynamic pose, sharp focus, BG and warm light. What's not to like?

Welcome aboard Eric! I really like the different colours in the BG. A bit more room at the bottom would be my only nit.
