    Hello everyone, I went to a NJ pond looking to practice with my recently purchased Canon EOS 50D (prior SLR was an Olympus E-420) and spotted this guy hiding in the nearby bush. I cannot identify it using the Sibley Eastern NA book, so I figured I'd put it up here and leave it to the experts. :)

    I want to say its some kind of domestic muscovy, but again, I'm not 100% sure.

    Interesting, looks like some kind of hybrid. Maybe domestic x mallard?
