I like it a lot. Great bird, love the raised feathers on the head.
The feet and visible talons add a lot here.
Good exp, eye looks very good. HA OK, bit of a turn would make it
even better. Perch and BG nice too. I would probably remove
the little bright speck on the wing. Congratulations.

Really beautiful looking bird. I like the pose w/ the raised feathers. Sharp details and I agree w/ the removal of the tiny speck. Is the BG natural? It looks lovely and stormy. I was just wondering.

Bird I've not seen many posts of. This is a good one. Only suggestion I might make would be to do some selective dodge and burn: particularly of the secondary and primary flight feathers; just to lift some detail and resolution. All else is fairly good. ;)

Beautiful in all respects. Love the pose, excellent eye contact, detail , low angle and perch. Awesome BG too. Congratulations and many thanks for sharing.

Killer image. Absolutely fantastic!!! Great light, BG, head turn. Wonderful sharpness.

I love those birds, they are amazing in every way.
How is the population in India for those birds? Here in Europe we have only a little bit more than 1000 pairs and the species is one of the most endangered raptors in Europe.

There is a whole new book coming out covering the species across it's range:

Niranjan, I always think it will be hard for you to beat yourself when it comes to Bonelli's shots. But you have done it here again. Light, comp, BG, DOF, pose....beautiful.

markus, this bird is doing better here in india.but habitat degradation is rampant here and soon they will come under pressure.i have spent quite some time doing observations of these eagles and have written some papers too on their behaviour. and waiting for the book you mentioned for a long time. i have contributed lot of pictures for the book.
