    Default Nest building time

Last year, this pair failed to produce any offspring. Their nest building was miserable which maybe contributed to the failure. Assuming these are the same two birds, they are much more dedicated this year with lots of sticks and other materials being gathered and woven. Storm coming this week, let's hope for the best.

Grace, liked the strong composition here. And the upturned primaries. Lets hope for the best.

Is their a halo around the bird? On 'birds against blue sky', I always have to back down on the sharpness in DPP to prevent that.

I particularly like the light, sharpness, underwing detail and eye contact in this one.

Another fine image Grace. Hope the wind storms don't get to them this year. It looks like the nest on the Loop Pkwy.:( got destroyed in the last storm. Hope they return to rebuild.

Great shot. I like the diagonal line, the details and exposure of the plumage and the stick the bird is carrying.
