    Default Bosque Sunrise

    This was taken with a 20d at 100mm, ISO 200, 1/1000s, f/8.

Be harsh. I have other similars with more ground, but I liked the effect of just a few swaths of ground... remind me of a japanese landscape. Does this work for anyone?

Welcome, Samuel. The clouds and light are great. I would prefer to see a little bit more ground, though.

Great light and clouds to work with.. A few of the birds on the right are to close or intersecting the frame and I would like to see either more of the land or none at all...

Hi Samuel and welcome to BPN!

Agree on the comments about the bottom. I feel it needs more grounding, or as Robert said, none at all. Human nature being what it is, we tendo to pull that little bit up and get distracted from the beauty going on a littler higher in the image.

Hope this answers your question :)
