Another form the rainy day at the Tampa aquarium. Spent a few hours on this one at the aquarium as it was a friday and it was packed with kids wanting to see Nemo!
Canon 1D Mark lll with the 17-40mm lens @ 37mm for 1/125 sec at f22 and ISO 640 hand held. 2 Canon 580EZ flashes off shoe at full power. Slight crop left and bottom.

    Roman:
    Sharp, colorful, fun.

I might prefer a bit less flash, but really glows.

What bracket set up are you using for your flashes?

    cheers

Newest invention.....called a friend holding both flashes:D! I did the same for him......very effective as we was able to easier adjust and follow the action and keep both flashes right up to the glass.

Sounds like a great reason to shoot with a friend!

I always did like Bill Withers "lean on me".

Another beauty, Roman. It's too bad about the shadow of the anemone tentacle but since everything else looks fantastic, that is easily overlooked. :)

Ken, that was the first thing I saw, too (after that brilliant burst of colors!) I'd clone the sucker if it were mine. Everything else is exquisite, Roman. The detail you managed to get here is really exceptional. You're making me wish I lived somewhere within driving distance of an aquarium!

love the colors and the glow of the Anemone, the shadow does not bother me since I expect to see one considering how the subject is lit.
