I see you fixed the HAP patrol with this one Rosi. :) Lens resolution seems to be working out real well with that new glass. I'll let some one else nit, if they can. I like it, cept olive green is not my favorite color. Bill

    Hi Bill,
you are right; I'm afraid of the HAP Patrol :-)))
This would be a funny title for the image too...

Very nice Rosl, could you include the techs please?

Was this with your new lens?

    Hi Fabs,
yes, it's made with my new lens - I tried to get used to handholding it..... That's another weight, than with the 100-400, but when I look at the pictures, they are quite sharp - I did not believe that, while I was photographing! It's such a fantastic lens!

    Ok, the techs:
    Mark III / Canon 500 4.0 - handhold
    1/400 sec. / f 5.6 / ISO 800

Thanks, Rosl. I did enjoy that lens very much and used it hand held close to two years, until I got used to the tripod and the ability to compose better while using it. You will be very happy with it!

    Hi Fabs,
most of my pictures are made with a tripod; but sometimes there is a opportunity for a nice picture and not enough time to set up a tripod.
This was the matter with the goldfinch. Actually I was sitting on a horse, when I saw the goldfinch sleeping. I just went off the horse, caught my camera, ran back to the goldfinch, still sitting there and sleeping, and I was able to make some images....

When I went out for a special fototrip I usually carry my tripod with me.....
