For the first time, I used a 7D on a trip. This is one of the shots. I was pleased to find that many of the flight shots held focus even with strong backgrounds. This booby flew conveniently against the blue sky.
Eastern Island, Midway Atoll. The leading edge on he far wing is hot, but I am pleased with the rest of the image.
It was a pleasure to be on the trip with Artie.

Good-looking specimen, are these breeding colors? Do you have an image in this series with wings up or down? Dialing in a bit positive EC might have helped.
