    Jan, I like the way the bird is positioned and its body isoriented. But the focus seems to be on the perch and not on the head. The head is turned away a little too much as well. This would have been such a cool shot if the bird were looking in the lower left corner with focus on its eye.

    Bang on critique by Kaustubh, which I agree with. Notice how sharper the feet are compared to the face. Looks like a very vibrant bird, and nice of him to come down to eye level for you!
