    I like the perch and eye contact and would try to brighten the part of the plumage that is not sunlit. It might work as vertical crop, too.

    Super pose, and I like the colour of the perch. I agree a vertical will work, or maybe moving him to the right will work too.

    Great bird, and great perch. I agree with vertical crop suggestion. I think there's a slight halo (more so on the left side of the bird.
