    Great capture! I am going north to the Skagit flats (Washington State) tomorrow to try to capure a few images of the short-eared owls. Hope I can do half as well.

    Whoa, nice to catch a bird in flight this adeptly, and doubly great is that it is one not usually seen flying around in the daytime!

    I find this to be just a wonderful composition. Not only does the owl have a lovely flight pose and great eye contact but I love how you have been able to capture the environment in such a beautiful and pleasing way. Just love this Phil. Thanks for sharing.
